Theresa participated in the LEED Rating System Development Summit – Vision and Plan for LEED 2011 - in March, 2009.
In March 2008, Theresa was appointed to the US Green Building Council's Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group (MRTAG). This group of national experts advises on LEED Credit Interpretation Requests (CIR) and credit ruling appeals and it helps to maintain consistency across the LEED product range as it relates to credits for materials and resources. The USGBC Technical Advisory Groups met in Washington, DC in October, 2008 to map out the technical development agenda and schedule for LEED and to get a start on the actual development work for LEED 2011. She served this committee until she joined GBCI staff in June 2009.
Theresa Hogerheide-Reusch participated as a LEED-CI Subject Matter Expert in the USGBC's LEED curriculum development meeting in September, 2008.
In April 2006, Theresa was elected to the US Green Building Council's LEED Application Guide for Retail Core Committee. This committee is charged with the development of an Application Guide to assist retail projects in becoming LEED certified. She served this committee until she joined GBCI staff in June 2009.
